Companies look outside for search marketing help

Companies with more money at hand coming out of the recession are using those funds to outsource some of their search marketing, according to a SEMPO survey. But other factors may be contributing to the trend. "I think they're also looking at issues like the skills needed to keep up ... with these various [mobile and local marketing changes] and also having the time to keep up," said Marc Engelsman, vice president of client programs and services at Digital Brand Expressions.
