GroupMe groups interested consumers for brand interaction

Brands are reaching out to social digital startup GroupMe to set up brand-specific interest groups. The Oxygen TV network has already taken advantage of the service, and GroupMe has launched a Featured Groups product to suggest topics -- including brands -- around which users can assemble their own groups and which brands can tap into.
