How varying schedules may lead to worker errors

Recent incidents where air traffic controllers have fallen asleep on the job may have been due in part to something doctors are calling shift-work sleep disorder. Doctors say people who work nights or change shifts often can develop sleep problems and other issues, including headaches and difficulty concentrating.
