NFL lockout could hit pizza and wing chains

Quickservice chains, especially pizza eateries and wing joints, are worried about the potential for a serious sales slump if the NFL can't end the lockout in time to move ahead with the pro football season. "NFL Sundays are a big part of our sales mix and the type of events that generate 100- and 200-wing orders, catering opportunities, and the party platters that are good for business," said Wingstop CMO Andy Howard.
