Isobutanol could be promising for small engines, OPEI chief says

Isobutanol could be an ethanol-blended gasoline because the fuel does not damage small engines, according to this article. The first U.S. commercial production of isobutanol is scheduled for this year. "It shows great promise if they can bring it market in a meaningful way," said Kris Kiser, president and CEO of the Outdoor Power Equipment Institute.
