What is influencing boomer retirement decisions?

Boomers who are currently working are planning to retire at an average age of 69, but nearly half of the oldest boomers have already retired, according to a study commissioned by the MetLife Mature Market Institute. However, just 6% of boomers said they retired because they had reached a retirement savings goal.
