Colo. seeks greater coordination for STEM programs

Dozens of programs in Colorado teach science, technology, engineering and math, but they are not coordinated with other programs. The state recently created a position to administer federal funds for STEM programs. "We need a vision that moves us forward instead of everyone doing their own thing," said Violeta Garcia, Colorado's STEM education coordinator.
