Healthy, ethical chocolate gains in New Zealand

Consumers in New Zealand are showing they are willing to spend more for chocolate that is ethically made and healthier, according to a report from Leatherhead Food Research. "The chocolate sector has experienced a rise of 16.1% in value terms since 2008, with people continuing to trade up to more expensive products," said analyst Jonathan Thomas.
