Led by ex-IKEA executives, Rusta aims to boost sourcing from India

Sweden-based multi-brand retailer Rusta will set up a buying office in India to boost sourcing from the country, one of the key issues for retailers looking to open stores in India under new foreign-investment rules approved last year. India is ninth on Rusta's list of top suppliers, but the company expects to boost India sourcing from $10 million to $40 million annually and make it the second-largest supplier behind China in the next two to three years.
