Road projects in N.J., Pa. to cost estimated $1.5B

An estimated $500 million budget is slated for eight large road construction projects in Pennsylvania, while more than $1 billion will be allocated for several reconstruction projects in New Jersey. For every $1 billion investment, about 25,000 to 30,000 construction and construction-related jobs are created, said Eugene Blaum, Pennsylvania Department of Transportation spokesman.
