Sen. Levin wants DOJ and SEC to look at JPMorgan probe records

Sen. Carl Levin, D-Mich., wants the Department of Justice and the Securities and Exchange Commission to examine the records of his Senate Permanent Subcommittee on Investigations' report on derivatives losses by JPMorgan Chase. "When you say criminal referrals, there will be referrals to the Justice Department and to the regulators, the Securities and Exchange Commission," Levin said. The forwarding of those documents is a routine occurrence at the end of most of the panel's investigations, Levin said.
