Senate to discuss immigration-reform bill Tuesday

A bipartisan group of senators will present an immigration reform proposal Tuesday after more than two months of negotiations. The more than 1,000-page proposal includes temporary legal options for unauthorized immigrants, a shift in immigration enforcement, requirements that businesses use the E-verify system and the establishment of a federal program to identify foreigners entering and leaving the country.
