Chrysler taps 3D AR for mobile model tours

A new 3D augmented-reality application from Chrysler will allow smartphone and tablet users at the New York Auto Show to do a virtual test drive of the latest Chargers and Challengers and customize them. The app, which also allows 360-degree views of the models, follows similar efforts by other automakers, including Audi and Porsche.
