Colo. students visit senior center to interview veterans for history project

A group of Colorado high-school students recently interviewed World War II, Korean War and Vietnam War veterans to record their military experiences for the Library of Congress' oral history project. Teacher Jill Haffley said the students can relate to the veterans by making connections between the wars of yesterday and those of today. "They may not remember everything from class. But they will remember this," said Haffley, who has worked on this project for seven years.
