Expert: Recent lack of tornadoes in Okla. is tied partly to drought

No tornadoes have been reported in Oklahoma during the past eight months, whereas the state normally experiences five tornadoes between January and March, according to this article. "It ties to the drought. We haven't had a lot of chances to get those proper ingredients to get tornadoes," said state climatologist Gary McManus.
