How to design for Google's newest search algorithm

Google's most recent changes to its search algorithm mean that optimizing your site for search is now about much more than keywords. The changes benefit Web designers by adding considerations for content quality and usability into where a site appears in the ranking. Tara Hornor recommends that designers consider whether a site is usable for its core demographic and how to add more clear, high-quality content. It's also important to make sure the site is optimized for mobile searches and to follow Google's guidelines for publishing images on websites, Hornor adds.
