IRI research: Many boomers are not interested in leaving legacy to family

Bart Astor, an author and expert on elder care, takes note of the Insured Retirement Institute's research on baby boomers in an article on whether to leave an inheritance to loved ones. A recent IRI survey found that only 46% of baby boomers believe an inheritance is important. Astor suggests other ways to pass on a legacy.
