More states and municipalities are turning to public-private partnerships to help design, build, operate and maintain infrastructure projects. Some of the "most-watched" P3s include: the $1.5 billion rebuilding of Goethals Bridge that connects New York's Staten Island and New Jersey; the $2.36 billion Ohio River Bridges project between Kentucky and Indiana; and Maryland's $2.2 billion Purple Line project.
