Start-up looks for success in cell-phone advertising

Virginia-based start-up MobilePosse is testing out its cell-phone ad system through Revol, an Ohio phone carrier. By adding a MobilePosse chip to a phone, ads will show on the phone's screen when the phone is on but not in use. Investors hope that ad rotation depending on the time of day and location of the phone will entice advertisers to buy on the MobilePosse system.
