Study: Weekly Taxol improves breast cancer patient survival

Researchers found that 12 weekly doses of Taxol after standard chemotherapy were more effective than four Taxol treatments every three weeks in preventing disease recurrence and extending the lives of breast cancer patients. Weekly dosage for 12 weeks "should be considered a new standard," a study author said.
