FTC seeking public comment on rule for PHR vendors

The Federal Trade Commission is seeking public comment on a proposed rule that would require personal health records vendors and related entities to inform their customers about possible security violations. The agency will accept public responses on the rule, which is required under the economic-stimulus law, until June 1.
