Louisiana officials criticize Army Corps' coastal study

Advisers for Louisiana Gov. Bobby Jindal are criticizing a study by the Army Corps of Engineers because it does not recommend construction projects that could protect New Orleans from a severe hurricane. Instead, the $23 million study recommends more studies before specific projects are proposed. A project manager for the study said the Corps did not have sufficient time to prepare specific recommendations.
