Argonne study recycles plastic bags into carbon nanotubes, spheres

A researcher at Argonne National Laboratory in Illinois has found a way to recycle plastic bags into either carbon nanotubes or carbon spheres. Carbon nanotubes can be used as a component in lithium batteries, while carbon spheres can be used in paints, lubricants and rubber tires.
