Burger King taps senior VP for newly created North American CMO post

Burger King has named Michael Kappitt to the newly created position of chief marketing officer for North America. The company still plans to fill the post of global CMO, vacant since Russ Klein left the company last year. Kappitt joined the company as a field marketing director eight years ago, and has held several posts since.
