Napolitano: Global aviation security reforms under way

The attempted Christmas Day bombing of a Northwest Airlines jetliner revealed flaws in international aviation security and has sparked the Department of Homeland Security to work more closely with its global partners. Speaking Thursday at the National Press Club, Homeland Security Secretary Janet Napolitano said DHS is aggressively pursuing international cooperation for upgrades to the terrorist watchlist process, screening technology and general procedures.
