Crews assemble 540-foot-long borer for Ohio's $2.5B, 40-year project

Workers are setting up a 540-foot-long borer to dig a tunnel as part of a $2.5 billion, 40-year project to improve water and sewer service in Columbus, Ohio. The machine is expected to advance 68 feet per day on a 4.5-mile journey scheduled to be completed in December 2014.
