Custom's spinal surgery device lands 510(k) clearance

The FDA has given Custom Spine the go-ahead to market Securis, the company's first minimally invasive product tailored for use by spinal surgeons. The company said the cannulated pedicle screw device comes with a chromium-cobalt rod and cutting-edge instrumentation.
