Eating at your desk saps productivity, morale, experts say

More workers are skipping lunch or eating at their desks because they say they have too much work to take a break. But research on creativity and productivity "shows a lot of good stuff comes about when employees get away from their work and their desks, and smart managers and smart companies find a way to make that happen," says Lyle Sussman, a University of Louisville professor.
