MetroWest uses health education, walking to spur weight loss

MetroWest Medical Center's 12-week program of employee health education and a walking challenge prompted 52 workers to lose more than 500 total pounds. Kristie Howard of Longfellow Benefits in Boston says employers are looking closely at obesity issues and recommends wellness programs that focus on lifestyle changes rather than rapid weight loss.
