TSA is testing automated system to check fliers' boarding passes, ID

The Transportation Security Administration has begun testing a system at Washington Dulles International Airport that uses machines to check travelers' identification and boarding passes. It will start tests at Houston's George Bush Intercontinental Airport in Texas and in Puerto Rico this month. "For efficiency, it is fantastic," said Domenic Bianchini of the TSA. "We think it's a valuable technology, and we think over time we will see the real value added."
