U.S. government is concerned about EU ETS, FAA official says

A Federal Aviation Administration official said "the U.S. government has very serious concerns" about the European Union's emissions-trading scheme. The EU denies the scheme is a tax, but Airlines for America disagrees. "It is a tax," said Nancy Young, vice president for environmental affairs at A4A. "What [the EU] is saying to us is, 'we're going to impose upon the world ... an EU policy.'"
