Agents' ticket sales declined in Q1 amid fees increase, ARC says

Travel agents sold $22.9 billion worth of airline tickets in the first quarter, a 1.37% drop compared with last year's figures, the Airlines Reporting Corp. says. Total airline fees during the first quarter increased 8.02% from the previous year, to $1.86 billion. Ticket transactions reached 38.4 million, a 1.81% decline against the same period in 2012.
