Cybersecurity bill may bring a legislation showdown

A cybersecurity proposal is up for a House vote this week, and industry watchers are expecting the White House to release a statement indicating it would veto the legislation, as it did last year, if the bill doesn't provide increased data privacy, Tony Romm writes. However, the Cyber Intelligence Sharing and Protection Act is endorsed by some of the top tech players, "because it doesn't impose mandates on industry," Romm writes.
