Futurization trend helps DME's Oman crude futures

Christopher Fix, chief executive officer at the Dubai Mercantile Exchange, says that the futurization of swaps is helping bolster DME's Oman crude oil futures contract, which debuted in 2007. In 2012, the number of market participants jumped 28% and trading volumes have risen from roughly 3 million barrels daily in 2012 to 6.5 million daily now.
