How sequestration is hurting small businesses

Small-business owners who do work with the government are feeling the sting of sequestration as agencies cut their spending. "Government spending isn't just spent within the government for government employees. Much government spending is passed through to the private sector," said Sen. Mary Landrieu, D-La. Sequestration is also expected to negatively affect the Small Business Administration's loan program and its ability to assist small companies.
