India's FDI loosening may get June airing

June is the earliest target date for wide-ranging new proposals on foreign direct investment in India, Finance Minister P. Chidambaram said. About two dozen industries are covered, including telecommunications and banking. A vote deadline is set for May next year, although Chidambaram said the government "has a clear window to 31 December to push through changes."
