NASA unveils mission to seek and analyze lunar ice

NASA scientists are planning a weeklong rover mission to learn more about how water might be made on the moon. The $250 million Regolith and Environment Science and Oxygen and Lunar Volatile Extraction mission is scheduled for November 2017 with aim of finding and analyzing deep pockets of existing frozen water on the moon, with the hopes of discovering how it might be re-created on site.
