Schmidt: Google will not block Facebook Home app on Android

Google Executive Chairman Eric Schmidt says that smartphones using Google's Android operating system should reach the billion mark within nine months. He added that the company has no intention of blocking the Facebook Home application or dropping it from Google Play, as that move would be contrary to the open-source origins of Android and against the company's "public statements, our policies, our religion."
