Software bootcamp turns out engineers in 9 weeks

Ken Shimizu quit his job and spent $11,000 to enroll in Dev Bootcamp, a program that teaches students to write software in nine weeks. A week after graduating, he got a job making twice the salary of his previous marketing and public relations job. Such intensive training programs can cost up to $15,000 and requires students to work up to 100 hours a week.
