Concrete part of award-winning design of resilient coastal home

The Bayside Bunker is a design for a resilient home in coastal communities. Designed by Australian architects Rayne Fouche and Larissa Searle, the home includes a solar energy system, greywater recycling and debris-resilient windows. The exterior is prefabricated concrete, and the concrete central area provides the building with structural rigidity. The design was the winner of the R3build Design Competition.
