Skanska-Traylor recommended to build Downtown Regional Connector in L.A.

An analysis by the Los Angeles County Metropolitan Transportation Authority has recommended that Skanska USA and Traylor Bros. be awarded a $927 million contract to construct a 1.9-mile, $1.46 billion underground rail link in Los Angeles. Contract and budget reallocations for the Downtown Regional Connector are slated to be voted upon by Metro directors next week. The project is expected to be completed in 2020.
