Side air bags worth cost, IIHS says

Side air bags, though often meaning additional costs for buyers, improved side-crash test results for cars and minivans, according to a new report from the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety. The report highlights test improvements on otherwise identical models with the additional safety devices.
