Smaller, lighter concrete testing cylinders accepted

Under revised industry standards, new, smaller cylinders can be used for acceptance testing of concrete. Previous concrete cylinders, which were six inches in diameter and one foot tall, weighed about 30 pounds and were difficult to transport around job sites, but the new cylinders, which weigh about one-third less, should be easier to handle.
