DDB trying to stay out of crossfire between two of its accounts

DDB, Chicago, is trying to stay out of a public clash between two of its clients, Anheuser-Busch InBev and engineering firm Emerson, according to this article. The dispute, which was disclosed in a St. Louis Post-Dispatch article, stems from Emerson's directive to its employees to not use A-B products in response to the brewer's policy of deferring payments to vendors for 120 days and its alleged reduction in support for St. Louis-area charity groups.
