Report: San Mateo County infrastructure to cost $1B

Improving infrastructure in San Mateo County, Calif., will cost $1 billion over the next five years, according to a new report. Transportation projects in the county include Caltrain electrification and ferry service in Redwood City. The "2009 Indicators for a Sustainable San Mateo County" report also included recommendations for reducing the county's reliance on fossil fuel.
