Swedish fashion retailer H&M posts 3% drop in sales

Hennes & Mauritz posted a larger-than-expected 3% decline in same-store sales in March compared with last year. Evli Bank analyst Anders Wiklund, however, said the Swedish fashion retailer would withstand the disappointing sales figures. "I think people still see the H&M as the star in the gang," he said. "They have over a long period of time shown that their concept works. They are so financially strong and big that they can survive and do well."
