YouTube adds more full-length movies, TV episodes

Google's YouTube announced a series of content deals -- most notably with Sony -- to beef up the number of movies and TV episodes available on the online video-sharing site. The deals mean YouTube will have about 700 movies and thousands of TV shows and, not coincidentally, a new competitive tool with which to blunt the rise of Hulu.com, another content hub on the Web.
