Implications of student loans can last well after graduation

With federal student loan debt at more than $1 trillion nationwide, many graduates say continuing to pay for their education likely will delay their decision to get married or have children. At issue, according to some, is students' willingness to take out private loans. However, many students turn to private lenders while still eligible for federal loans, according to the nonprofit Project on Student Debt.
