Kony campaign heats up, but progress is slow

The presence over the past several months of U.S. military advisers in the Central African Republic is apparently doing little to discourage the Lord's Resistance Army, which, under leader Joseph Kony, is continuing to commit abuses in central Africa, including the Democratic Republic of Congo. On Friday, the Kony 2012 campaign by U.S. charity Invisible Children -- whose video on Kony has been viewed nearly 90 million times on YouTube -- hopes people will plaster the world's cities with images urging governments to help capture the warlord.
