Mich. students are revved up for science, math lessons

A group of Detroit students are being encouraged to enter science and engineering fields, and a field trip to the Detroit Grand Prix is sparking interest. Following weeks of science and math lessons that include racing-related themes, about 600 elementary-school students will visit the race track in June. Officials said they hope to continue the program next year.
